Richland has a French Immersion dual language program, which is a 50/50 foreign language immersion program. Students spend half of every school day with each of their English and French teachers. All academic subjects are taught in both languages of the program. Teachers in each grade level collaborate to plan instruction so that students' academic needs are met in both languages.
The French program currently serves students from Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade. We grow one grade level per year, with the goal of eventually becoming a TK-8th grade school.
All Dual Language students wishing to enroll after the beginning of first grade, must pass language proficiency tests in English and French.

Families who are chosen in the district's computerized lottery will be contacted via email. As spaces become available, our school will then reach out to the families on the waiting list.
Siblings have first priority for enrollment.
