Enrollment Information
If you are interested in having your child attend Richland's French Immersion program, you must apply via the LAUSD site (www.echoices.lausd.net) in order to be eligible for the lottery. All applications are made through the Echoices website between October 3 and November 18. The district will then send a confirmation email for your files. The school does not have access to applications until after the lottery decisions are announced mid-March.

Enrollment Requirements

Transitional Kindergarten is available to children who will turn 5 during the school year, between September 2 and December 1.

Kindergarten – child must be 5 years old on or before September 1st.

First Grade – child must be 6 years old on or before December 2nd.

After you are notified of your child's acceptance to Richland, an enrollment package may be picked up in the main office, and you must provide original proof of residence with one of the following:

Utility service bills (gas, electric, water)

Property Taxes, rental or lease agreement (may require additional verification)

Official government mail (tax document, utility bill, etc.)
In addition to proof of residence, the following documents are also required:

State I.D. (driver’s license, DMV ID Card, Passport); name/person must be same as proof of residence

Birth certificate, passport, court order of the student
